It’s the 250th Anniversary of America - Do You Have an Ancestor Who Fought in the Revolutionary War? 

Are you a history buff? Do you love genealogy? This is the lecture for you. Discover when and where the war was fought. Who qualified as a Patriots. Were they in the militia or the Continental Army? Did they pay taxes or perform some other type of service. During what years the war was fought. How can you use genealogy research to determine if your ancestor was a Patriot? What resources are available to you? Are any resources free, or do you have to pay for all of them?

Presenter: Dr. Susanne Johnston was an educator for 47 years in public and private schools and universities in the area. She specializes in the American Revolution, Native American Issues, genealogy, genetics and forensics.
