The Celtic Cultural Club seeks to explore various aspects of Celtic culture and history. We will discuss topics from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Mann, Cornwall, Galicia, and Brittany. Whether you have Celtic heritage or are simply learning, you are welcome to join us. We meet the fourth Saturday of the month at 2 pm.
July's Topic: Celtic United States
Thanks to the Irish Diaspora and emigration from the other Celtic nations, millions of people in the United States claim some kind of Celtic heritage. This has influenced all aspects of life in the U.S., from music to food and everything in between. There are even place names that represent the Celtic nations. Let's explore the connections between the United States and the Celtic nations that people claim as a part of their heritage!
This club will be in meeting at the library in the Community Room. For more information or questions, please contact Ashley Paskill at paskill.ashley@hotmail.com.
