January 2025: Robert Burns

Robert Burns is one of the most celebrated Scottish poets in history. Every January, people celebrate Burns Night to honor his birthday. We will discuss Robert Burns, talk about the traditions associated with Burns Night, and read some of Burns’ poetry.

The Celtic Cultural Club seeks to explore aspects of Celtic culture and history. We will discuss topics from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Mann, Cornwall, Galicia, and Brittany. Whether you have Celtic heritage or are simply learning, you are welcome to join us. We meet the fourth Saturday of the month at 2 pm.
