May 2025: Celtic History Within Music

Music is a huge aspect of Celtic culture. So many of the songs reflect the stories of the past within the lyrics. We’ll explore songs that tell of historic places and people of the Celtic world and the stories that are now commemorated in song.

The Celtic Cultural Club seeks to explore aspects of Celtic culture and history. We will discuss topics from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Mann, Cornwall, Galicia, and Brittany. Whether you have Celtic heritage or are simply learning, you are welcome to join us. We meet the fourth Saturday of the month at 2 pm.
