Please join us for an educational college planning workshop for parents of high school freshman, sophomores, and juniors.

We'll discuss the FAFSA form and all of the other information you need to understand in order to maximize the amount of financial aid you are eligible to receive.

Even if your family isn't eligible for need-based aid, we will cover strategies on how to pay for college in the most cost-effective way - without putting a strain on the rest of your finances.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • Why what everyone says about 529s can be misleading
  • FAFSA and financial aid form basics
  • Which assets are counted when the government calculates your EFC (Expected Family Contribution)
  • How to get ahead by developing a customized plan to meet all of the college costs you will incur as a family
  • How high income families can still get financial aid
  • How to avoid scholarship scams and loan pitfalls
  • Why student loans aren't the best way to pay for college anymore
  • How to send your child to an expensive private college for less than a state school
