In-Person Program

Join us to learn what every community home buyer needs to know about being ready to purchase a home now, your options for getting a mortgage and learning about the home buying process.

Presenter: Chris Anderson is a Residential Lender with Harleysville Bank; a local portfolio lender who keeps their loans and servicing in-house. Alongside primary residences, he also originates pre-approvals, home equity loans, and 1 - 4 unit investment properties. He has a passion for walking first-time homebuyers through the Community Homebuyer Program because, “Everyone was a first-time homebuyer at one point or another – that includes me.”

Chris also volunteers through the Montgomery County Partners for Homeownership (MCPHO). A non-profit where he and other lenders, Realtors, credit counselors, insurance agencies, and county officials provide free housing education through Zoom Webinars and in-person workshops at the annual Montgomery County Housing Fair. When he’s not talking about housing and mortgages, Chris spends his time writing and traveling.
