During this Family Based after school program, we will read the book We Planted a Tree by Diane Muldrow and then explore the science of trees with demonstrations and hands-on activities.  All families who participate in the program will be entered into a drawing for a family pass to Longwood Gardens.  We will be making tree themed art and encourage participants to bring some things from trees (leaves, twigs, flowers, pinecones, etc) to the program.
