In-Person Program

In the summer of 1863, a small town in Adams County, PA and its 2,400 civilians settled in for another quiet season. The town they called home…Gettysburg. The name alone still leaves an impact today. When two massive armies clashed there to do battle, it forever changed the landscape. For three days, they engaged in some of the bloodiest fighting of the civil war and when the fighting came to a close, the armies vanished leaving in their wake, nearly 30,000 dead and wounded soldiers.

Join historical lecturer, reenactor and tour guide, Michael Jesberger for a discussion on the town of Gettysburg in 1863.
