In-Person Program

Stress: Promoting Health in a World of Uncertainty

Stressed out?  Let’s talk about it!  The last two years have presented challenges never before anticipated.  The threat of a deadly virus, lockdowns, loss of employment, career changes, working from home, virtual school, supply shortages, disruptions to social interactions, and the loss of loved ones have contributed to widespread acute and chronic stress.  Recent international tensions further add to a collective sense of unease and financial strain.  Stress is associated with psychological and physiological conditions including anxiety, depression, insomnia, hypertension, substance abuse, and obesity.

Join us for a presentation about the effects of stress and how to mitigate it.  The event is free and open to the public.

About the presenter - Susanne Page is a Registered Nurse and Souderton resident.  She is a graduate of Temple University and Montgomery County Community College holding degrees in both fine art and nursing.  This program is part of a community education project through Aspen University to promote health in the community.
