In-Person Program

Join Tom Kolsky to examine some of the central concepts that are employed in the study and practice of politics and government.  An important goal of the program is to differentiate between the theory and practice of human governance.  The audience is encouraged to explore all aspects of political behavior without fear and with civility.

About the Presenter: MCCC Professor Emeritus of History and Political Science Dr. Thomas Kolsky.  He earned his Ph.D. in History from George Washington University. From 1987 -2015, he hosted Issues And Insights, a campus interview/talk show and a lecture series program that was designed to expose the college and community to matters of public interests.  A political maverick, he advocates peace, intellectual freedom, religious pluralism and market economy with a human face.
