Wednesday, November 307:00—8:00 PMZoomIndian Valley Public Library100 E. Church Ave, Telford, PA, 18969
Award-winning Civil War historian Scott Mingus tells the compelling story of how the Underground Railroad in York County helped these fugitives find their coveted freedom. It’s a story of an oppressed people’s quest for liberty and about how conductors along their pathway of freedom in York County’s hills and valleys aided their escape ‘without public applause or hope of award.’
This presentation will be held virtually on Zoom. The Zoom link for the presentation will be sent 24 hours and 30 minutes before the program in the event reminder emails.
