Effective Communication Strategies for Dementia Caregivers

Join the Alzheimer's Association for this session that teaches caregivers to decode verbal and behavioral communication by someone with dementia. Learn strategies for meaningful connection with people in early, middle and late-stage dementia. Participants will then hear about the common triggers for behaviors associated with dementia, how to assess the person’s needs, and how to intervene effectively. Alzheimer’s Association resources will also be discussed.
