Virtual - Dementia Conversations: Driving, Doctor Visits, Legal and Financial Planning

Tips on how to make talking to your loved ones with dementia about important decisions less stressful for everyone.

Conversations with family members showing signs of dementia can be challenging and uncomfortable.  The fear or lack of awareness that may accompany these conversations can result in delays that have serious consequences for the entire family.  The Dementia Conversations: Driving, Doctor Visits, Legal and Financial Planning webinar will cover common decisions that are difficult to discuss with loved ones and tips that can assist in making those important conversations less stressful.

Dementia Conversations: Driving, Doctor Visits, Legal and Financial Planning is an educational workshop developed by the Alzheimer's Association that offers helpful tips to assist family members in having honest and caring conversations with family members about dementia.  The workshop reinforces the need to plan ahead and build a care team that communicates well in order to reduce the stress that can accompany a disease like Alzheimer's and connects you with helpful resources and support.
