Virtual - A Visit with Susan B. Anthony
Wednesday, August 267:00—8:00 PMZoomIndian Valley Public Library100 E. Church Ave, Telford, PA, 18969
The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote, has often been called the “Susan B. Anthony Amendment,” in honor of the woman who was the best-known face of the Woman Suffrage movement. In spite of tireless efforts on behalf of the movement, Miss Anthony did not live to see this eventual triumph. Join us to meet the woman who dedicated her life to the core principle of equal rights for all. Marjorie Goldman will share the struggles, insights, stories and passions of this inspiring historical figure.
About the presenter: Marjorie Goldman has been researching and performing the role of Susan B. Anthony for over 20 years.
